Virtual Live Session Disclaimer

Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes make use of remote learning opportunities through the use of online video communication, via platforms such as Zoom. You understand that if at any time Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC approves the recording of a Course, especially a LIVE Course, you hereby irrevocably grant to Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC the right and permission to film, photograph, videotape and/or record you (including your image, picture, likeness and/or voice) and to use the resulting film, photographs, videotapes, digital imagery and/or recordings (collectively, the “Footage”), as edited or altered by Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC in order to create marketing and promotional materials, training materials and reports, or other work product created by or for the benefit of Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC (“Work Product”). You hereby assign to Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC all right, title and interest to the Footage and Work Product, including, but not limited to, all copyrights, without any further compensation to you. You release and discharge Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use of the Footage, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy. If you agree to participate in the course as the subject of a demonstration and or during a LIVE event, you are doing so voluntarily and at your own risk. You understand that the demonstration session may include questions / discussions about your personal trauma history and emotional, psychological, and physical symptoms you may be experiencing. You further understand that you are under no obligation to participate in the demonstration, that you may refuse to answer any question, and that you may pause or discontinue your participation in the demonstration at any time at your discretion. Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes have no liability or responsibility for your participation or involvement in any demonstration and you accept that any result or no result may occur due to your participation or involvement. You will at all times indemnify and hold harmless Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes, its officers, directors, agents, successors and assigns, from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) related to your acts or omissions in providing services related to any courses. 

By participating in remote learning / LIVE course sessions, you agree that you may not save, record, share or post any sessions, courses or any photos from your communications / engagements / sessions with Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes for any reason whatsoever. You shall not make any audio, video, audiovisual, or other recordings of any portion of the courses / sessions, nor shall you duplicate, reproduce, distribute, publish, or discuss any of the confidential information contained in or related to the courses / sessions. Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC shall not be liable or responsible for any unauthorized recording of the courses. You also agree that Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC shall have no liability or responsibility for the use or exploitation of any unauthorized recordings. 

In the event that Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes or its authorized representatives or agents or the training coordinator or faculty member requests that you discontinue your participation and involvement with the Course, you will immediately leave the Course, and the premises / platform (such as Zoom) upon which the Course is being held. If you withdraw willingly from any Course, the Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Tribal Knowledge Academy refund policy applies.

Zoom Courses, Sessions, and Online Event Recordings

RECORDING NOTICE: ANY and ALL Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes online events, courses, sessions enable an attendee to participate through a personal device's microphone and/or camera. An attendee may elect not to participate through use of a microphone and/or camera. The election of an attendee to use a microphone and/or camera constitutes a release and waiver of rights in the capture of the attendee's image, likeness, and/or voice for the exclusive use by Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes.

When you participate ANY and ALL Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes (Live or Virtual), you will be participating in an event where photography, video and audio recording may occur. By participating in the LIVE courses, one-on-one sessions, giveaways/ prize events and ANY and ALL other online events by ALL Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes, and their affiliates, you consent to video recording, audio recording and/or photography and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on web sites, or for any other purpose(s) that ALL Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes, its vendors, partners, affliates and/or representatives deems fit to use. You release ALL Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes, affiliates and staff and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking recording, digitizing, or publication of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings. By entering the event premises (conference venue or Zoom meeting platform), you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such exhibiting, broadcasting, webcasting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes or the person or entity designated to do so by Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC. In addition, the event will be monitored for unauthorized recording. By attending Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes, events, courses, sessions or entering the event premises (Live or Virtual), you agree not to record or digitize any parts of the presentation. If you attempt to use a recording device, you consent to your immediate removal from the premises or virtual platform (i.e. Zoom) and forfeiture of your access to the event and will not receive a refund for any registration fees. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before participating in ANY and ALL Tribal Knowledge Academy / Bloodlines Tribes Starfamily LLC / Dawn Treader / Johnathan Mercedes events.
